“To get something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done.”  We all have goals, desires, ambitions, whether it is in fitness, our career, or a life that we wish to lead.  Often we hear, “I wish I had her body, I wish I made the money he made,  I wish I could travel as often as they do.”  Well what is stopping you?  Is it time, education, or just excuses?  In fitness the main reason that most clients don’t achieve their goals is they are not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to achieve the goal.

Want the abs, legs, that she has?  You have to give up the ice cream and get up to do heavy squats that she does at 5am.  Want to get your shot in the UFC?  You have to sacrifice the nights at the bar and getting fat when you don’t have a fight like he does.  Want that retirement home on the lake?  Guess what?  Time to sacrifice the constant Twitter updates while you’re suppose to be working.  Are you willing to make the sacrifices necessary to get what you want?  You can’t continue to do the same things you’ve always done and expect a different result, that’s insane.  If a goal is really important to you, you’ll find a way to achieve it, and yes it means making a change and a couple of sacrifices.
